After surgery, your genitals will most likely be slightly bruised, tender, and swollen for a few weeks. You will need to refrain from strenuous activity for 3-4 weeks, and you will not be able to engage in sexual intercourse for approximately 4-6 weeks.

Labia Majora Remodeling

Often, the labia majora (outer lips) can have loose hanging skin resulting in the appearance of a bulge when wearing tight clothing. Dr. Barach can help correct this condition using liposuction if there is an excess of fatty tissue in the region, or he can remove excess skin from the surface of the labia majora.

Recovery time for this procedure is generally a little shorter than for a labia minora reduction, and sexual activity can usually be resumed after approximately three weeks.
